Thanks to Richard MacManus and his review of the best web office products, I’ve discovered iRows. I have to say I like it more than NumSum. The overall user experience is much more pleasant and smooth. Moving between cells, inserting formulas, selecting a range of cells is incredibly easy.
Apart from the stunnning interface, here are the main differentiating features that makes iRows stands out as the best in class:
- a good number of built-in functions
- both relative and absolute cell references
- some basic but effective import/export options
- charting capabilities
Congratulations to Itai Raz and “chapeau” to his colleague Yoah Bar-David for their cool and intuitive application! I’m already hooked on iRows and I hope that these guys will continue to improve it and … yes, I’m even willing to pay for it! Here is a more detailed review from Brian Benzinger.
Itai, Yoah, if you have any spare time, please consider implementing a different spreadsheet paradigm like Quantrix or FlexiSheet into a nice web application!
